Games/crafts for the theatre camp children!


Tissue paper flowers:
1.layer multiple pages of tissue paper over together
2. Fold like an accordion (back and forth)
3. Fold pipe cleaner around center of folded strip
4. Stretch folds
5. Separate layers of tissue paper carefully


This is a fishing game based off of Dr. Seuss' One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish.  
1. Have the children create multiple fish
2. Have them color the fish, one being red and one being blue
3. Attach a paper clip to each fish
4. Attatch a magnet to a string, and the string to a stick
5. Touch the magnet to the paper clips and catch those fish!


This cute little guy is Thing 2!  He has a twin named Thing 1, as all of you know from Dr. Seuss' great books. 
1. Gather white, red, and blue paint
2. Dip fingers in red and place on paper
3. Flip paper over
4. Dip only palm in white and place on paper
5. Dip only fingers in blue and place over white palm
6. Paint white circle in red hand print
7. Let dry, write names in white belly, make face


Horton from Horton Hears A Who
1. Gather grey paint and markers
2. Dip hand in grey paint and place on paper
3. Flip over, give ears and a tail
4. Add trunk wrinkles, toes, and any other interesting features


Horton 2
1. Gather 3 Paper plates
2.Paint paper plates blue or grey
3. Cut a paper plate in half
4. Glue two paper plates together
5.take the cut paper plate, glue both pieces on either side of one of the other paper plates
6. One that paper plate, glue eyes and a trunk
7. Add legs and arms


There's a Wocket In My Pocket: 
1. Cut pockets out of paper
2. Stable or glue only the edges of two pockets together
3. Glue characters onto pop cycle sticks
4. Let glue dry
5. Put them in your pockets

This is the final week for  this performance, bring out your friends to view this ghostly show.
